
Nicole Flatow joined ACS as Assistant Director of Communications in July 2010 and is the current Associate Director of Communications. Nicole was previously assistant legal affairs editor for The Daily Record in Baltimore, and before that, a legal fellow at Bread for the City, where she represented low-income D.C. residents in housing and public benefits matters. Prior to law school, Nicole worked in journalism at both legal and general circulation newspapers. She received her B.A. from Binghamton University (State University of New York), where she was editor in chief of her college newspaper, and her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. During law school, she was on the boards of the Public Interest Law Association and the Center for the Study on Race and the Law, and served as co-chair for the Conference on Public Service and the Law.
