ACS's Student Chapter at the Chapman University School of Law co-hosted a debate with the Federalist Society entitled, "Presidential Power and Success in Times of Crisis," featuring Professor John Yoo, Fletcher Jones Distinguished Visiting Professor of Law at Chapman University and Professor of Law at the University of California at Berkeley School of Law; Professor Katherine Darmer, Professor of Law, Chapman University School of Law; Professor Larry Rosenthal, Professor of Law, Chapman University School of Law; and Dr. John Eastman, Dean and Donald P. Kennedy Professor of Law, Chapman University School of Law will debate presidential powers, including the right to use torture to prevent terrorism. Dean Celestine McConville, Associate Dean of Administration, Henry Salvatori Professor of Law and Community Service, moderated the debate.
