On November 22, 2005 the University of Chicago chapter of the American Constitution Society welcomed Senator Richard Durbin (D-IL), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, to their campus to discuss the recent nomination of Judge Samuel Alito to the Supreme Court of the United States to replace Justice Sandra Day O’Connor.
