Supreme Court Moot - Davis v. FEC

UCLA School of Law
Apr 9 2008 - 12:15pm

ACS at UCLA School of Law's annual Supreme Court Moot will host Andrew Herman, attorney for the appellant in Davis v. FEC. In preparation for his April 22, 2008 Supreme Court appearance, Mr. Herman will moot his oral argument at UCLA before our expert panel of judges. The judges will then critique and provide feedback on his argument.

Davis v. FEC addresses whether the "Millionaire's Amendment" to the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act (BCRA) violates the First Amendment. The Millionaire's Amendment is a provision of the BRCA that relaxes campaign finance limits for opponents of congressional candidates spending their own money.
