L to R: Adam Bonin, Daniel Urevick-Ackelsberg, Christy Hardin Smith, Baratunde Thurston, and John Aravosis.

On a snowy February 4th, over 60 students, lawyers and members of the community joined ACS’s Philadelphia Lawyer Chapter and University of Pennsylvania Law School Student Chapter at Penn Law for a program entitled "Bloggers as America's Watchdog: New Administration, New Roles." Our panelists, John Aravosis of AMERICAblog, Christy Hardin Smith of FireDogLake, Baratunde Thurston of Jack and Jill Politics/Huffington Post, and Daniel Urevick-Ackelsberg of Young Philly Politics, joined blogger and Philadelphia Lawyer Chapter President Adam Bonin to discuss holding progressive politicians accountable, what politically active blogging looks like, and the symbiotic relationship between journalists and bloggers.
